Dear Dafesta family, we hope you and your family are doing well.

Since day one, the goal of Dafesta is to always support talented African Youths living in Diaspora, and we will always stand for that, because we believe in The United States of America there is a lot of talent from The African community but sometimes they really don’t know where to go to get the support they need.

Therefore, we are happy to announce the FIRST and BIGGEST African in Diaspora’s Soccer tournament ever, known as DAFESTA CUP. Taking place on Saturday, July 1, 2023, in Des Moines, Iowa. From 9 am to 8 pm (soccer complex to be announced as soon as possible)

With that, we are happy to invite all African Soccer Teams to register so you all can come to show your talent to the world, and of course, it might be your chance to go viral with your soccer talent.

Below are all the pieces of information you need to know about this soccer tournament.

• The budget for this tournament is very limited. Therefore, we require a Registration fee is $1000 to be able to participate. Registration is open from May 25, 2023, to June 15, 2023.

• A team will have to register 22 players max
• Player age eligibility is from 16-47. (parental consent is needed for players under 18)
• The player Must be in good health condition
• First place Winner will get $5000, a team Trophy, and medals for every player
• The second Winner will get $2000, and medals for every player
• The FINAL GAME will take place on the day of the 2023 Festival (July 22, 2023) at 9 am, please make possible arrangements for your team to attend.
• One week after registration close we will send a form to each registered team to provide the Player’s legal full name, date of birth, email, and Jersey number.
